“The beach in the little resort town that I grew up in New Jersey is very dear to my heart. When I was little I went there to play. As a teenager I went there to work and to be mischievious. As an adult I went there to be with friends, take long walks, look for sea glass, pass the love onto my children and vacation. I met my husband on that beach. We moved away and after 20 years we finally moved back to the beach. It is now where we teach inner-city at risk kids to surf. It is one of my great loves and my therapy.
